Assessment
Assessment is integral to tracking the progress of our pupils in writing. We have developed assessment grids for each year group to ensure there is a clear development for our pupils. These progression grids make use of Clever Writer statements and our own knowledge of our pupils and curriculum development. The objectives are broken down into autumn, spring and summer with the expectation that pupils will continue to secure their understanding of previous objectives as they progress through the year.
In Early Years we assess against the framework objectives and we use the end of KS2 assessment framework to support our assessment within Year 6.
