RECEPTION INTAKE SEPTEMBER 2023
Is your child due to start school in September 2023? Why not come and look round our school. We are conducting individual family appointments so that you get the opportunity to see the school in action and to ask any questions that you may have. Amotherby Community Primary is a local authority maintained school and therefore we adhere to the local authority admissions policy.
Following national guidance, pupils enter school in the September of the year in which they turn five. Whilst the majority of pupils will start full-time in Reception, it is possible to request a part-time place or to defer entry to school as long as the child is in school the term after their fifth birthday. Any such requests should be discussed with the Headteacher.
At Amotherby, our reception intake is 30.
